We are in one of the most festive months of the year, so we have to prepare the table, cook something delicious, but we cannot forget the dessert to accompany the celebration. So, taking advantage of the fact that pumpkin (sweet potato) is in season, we want to present you three original sweet desserts that you can prepare with this rich and nutritious vegetable Freeze dried candy mystery box.
Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients: 300 grams of pumpkin puree, 1/2 cup of sugar, 2 eggs, 200 gr. of milk cream, 1 tsp. of cinnamon powder, 1 tsp. ginger, 1 tsp, nutmeg or crushed, 1 sheet of shortcrust pastry (or you can make the lemon pie dough )
Preparation
First; Bake the shortcrust pastry according to the instructions, for 20 minutes at 180°C. Then, in a bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, eggs and sugar well, add the spices and the heavy cream. When the base is ready and cool, add the pumpkin mixture and put in the oven again for 30 minutes. You can cover with aluminum foil so it doesn’t burn. Once ready, let it cool and you can serve with Chantilly cream.
Pumpkin Waffles
Ingredients: 3/4 cup Selecta oat flour , 1/2 cup Selecta unpowdered flour, 1/2 tablespoon baking powder, 1 pinch of salt, 1 tsp. of cinnamon, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup milk (can be normal or vegetable), 50 gr. melted unsalted butter, 2 tbsp. maple syrup, 1/4 cup pumpkin puree, 1 tsp. of vanilla essence.
Preparation
In a bowl, mix the wet ingredients (eggs, milk, butter, maple syrup, pumpkin puree and vanilla). If you want sweeter waffles, you can add more maple syrup. Then add the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon), mix with a spoon and let it rest for 5 minutes. Heat the waffle maker and start cooking them one by one. You can serve them with fruits, chocolate, Chantilly cream, maple syrup, nuts and anything you can think of.
Vanilla and Pumpkin Cake
We save the best dessert for last! For this recipe, we will use Selecta Vanilla Queque Premix. Prepare it following the instructions of the Vanilla and Yogurt Cake recipe, but change the yogurt for half a cup of pumpkin puree and you can add the zest and juice of an orange to give it much more flavor.
